AWANA

Ages 3 to 12

AWANA is a MET Kids' Club that meets at the church Thursday evenings between 6:30 pm and 8:15 pm. The term, "AWANA" comes from the Bible verse: "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (2 Timothy 2:15). By studying the Bible, we can learn all we need to know to live a life approved by God. This program at The MET is for children between the ages of 3 and 12, and includes three unique age groups:

  • Cubbies - Boys and girls, ages 3 to 4 (age 3 by December 31 of current year)
  • Sparkies - Boys and girls, SK to grade 2
  • Truth and Training - Boys and girls, grades 3 to 6

We feature a time for fun games, fellowship, as well as Bible learning and memorization. Special activities outside the regular weekly time also take place throughout the year. These include Missions' Night, Camp Night, a Grand Prix Car Racing Evening, 'Beat the Clock' game and more! AWANA at The MET participates in regional Bible Quizzing and AWANA Games' featuring competitions between various clubs in Eastern Ontario and Quebec. We hope you can join us!
