Early Childhood Ministry

Newborn to age 3

Check-in Times and Location: 8:50 am (for the 9:00 am worship service), 10:45 am (for the 11:00 am worship service).  The check-in desk is located on the main floor past the kitchen.

In the Early Childhood Ministry we provide a safe and loving environment where the children will learn about how God loves them, how He made them and how much He cares about them.  We seek to nurture and pray for them as they are under our care.  It is a place where children learn simple truth statements, hear foundational Bible stories and begin to memorize Bible verses.  The curriculum we are using is "A Sure Foundation" by Children Desiring God. 

A parental paging system is in place to quietly alert families when a child may need you.  We may also post an alert on our worship service's PowerPoint screen.

Junior Kindergarten (JK) to age 4

Times and Location: 8:50 to 10:15 am check-in for your JK child can take place at any of our check-in stations in the Early Childhood Section (main floor past the Kitchen) or in front of the Gym.  After checking your child in you will take them to their class in Room 238 and will pick them up from the same location.

Our teaching time will be a launching pad for nurturing the faith of the next generation.  They will be learning foundational truths and Bible stories chronologically from Genesis to Revelation.  Bible memory verses and worship songs will be taught using developmentally appropriate methods.  Building upon the Bible stories and truth statements from "A Sure Foundation," they will continue in the Children Desiring God curriculum.
