Welcome to The MET!

For more than eighty years, The Metropolitan Bible Church (The MET) has been home to hundreds of people seeking the presence of the Lord in their lives through a biblically-focused approach. Based in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, we strive to be a constant in a world of change. Through Sunday messages, weekly programs, caring for the city’s underprivileged, and international missions’ projects, our vision is to extend God’s dominion in people’s homes, schools, workplaces and communities. (Psalm 72:8)

The MET is a growing church of over 2000 people. We have looked to the Lord for additional space to provide our programs to the people of Ottawa. In 2008 we completed a relocation project that saw us move from our downtown building to a larger property in Ottawa South (Prince of Wales and Hunt Club). Our motto for this project has been "More Than A Building" as we ask God for greater opportunities to serve our community with the love of Christ.

We hope that by hearing our pastors’ messages and meeting our church family, you will learn more about what the Lord has planned for your life and that your knowledge of Jesus Christ will grow. We encourage anyone with an interest in the Lord to visit our church.
