Community Groups

The MET is a big church, but it is more than just a Sunday worship service. The MET is a body of people living life together and restoring hope in the National Capital Region.

Community Groups are small groups of people living in the same region who meet together regularly to delve into the Word of God, pray together, share meals, serve one another, and reach out in love to their neighbours. We desire to see groups that transform their neighbourhoods in a way that connects members to Christ and to each other. We wish to live life in community modelled by the early Church in Acts 2:42-47.

Community groups aren’t simply a Bible Study, nor are they uniquely a social group. Community Groups are an avenue for each participant to grow as a disciple of Christ. Community groups live out the mission of God together: growing more in Christ and guiding more to Christ. Additionally, Community Groups are a joyful aspect of the Christian walk, allowing us to connect with others and develop deep friendships.
